Mr. David B. Dusdal, P.L.S., has been a Professional Land Surveyor since 1987 and is currently registered in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, North Dakota and Wyoming.

He has been a FAA Licensed Private Pilot for over 40 years and is a FAA Remote Pilot (Unmanned Aerial Sensor) licensed pilot. Mr. Dusdal started his career after receiving an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Surveying Technology. He went on to be a survey party chief performing surveys for seismic oil exploration. These engagements led him to perform surveys in the Alaskan Arctic regions for two winters and surveyed seismic gravity networks in the Rub-Al-Khali Desert of Saudi Arabia. Later he moved to Juneau, Alaska where he performed boundary surveys, topographic surveys and construction layout surveys.

From the rain forest of Southeast Alaska, David moved to the Phoenix, Arizona, where he spent five years surveying desert golf communities, working with Jack Nicklus Designs on the Desert Highlands and Desert Mountain Resort Projects.

Next, he acted as the Survey Department Manager at the Nevada Test Site in Mercury, Nevada. There he supervised the survey support operations for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Nuclear Weapons Testing Program. Mr. Dusdal was responsible for performing the geodetic control networks for such notable projects as the Yucca Mountain - High Level Nuclear Waste Repository and the Defense Nuclear Waste Storage Site aerial mapping project, covering over 200 square miles in Nevada.

In 1994, Mr. Dusdal re-located to Northern Colorado where he has held positions as office manager for three surveying and engineering firms. Additionally, he has several years of experience in the construction of oil and gas gathering pipeline systems and interstate natural gas transmission pipelines.

He is currently the UAS (Unmanned Aerial Sensor) Program Manager for 3D Mappers International, that specializes in the mining, mapping and oil & gas sectors throughout the Western U.S. There he performs mission planning, aerial mapping flights, data processing, topographic mapping and stockpile volume calculations. Additional services include mapping water reservoirs and calculating storage volume curves.

Mr. Dusdal’s background allows him to draw on his extensive experience to insure that every survey is performed in efficient and cost effective manner.
